LES is:

An international non-profit professional society whose members, as individuals worldwide, are actively involved in professional and business activities concerned with the transfer of technology and industrial or intellectual property rights.  LESANZ membership provides the following:

• Education on basic skills (professional and business)
  
• Provides a forum for members to meet and share experiences
  
• Monitors developments in licensing practices, publishing reports, studies, and statistics
  
• Facilitates contact between potential licensors and licensees via networking opportunities
